1. Use shaving foam to clean mirrors

Yes, you read that right! By cleaning mirrors with shaving foam you can ensure cleanliness and also guard the mirror against foggy when it’s steamy in the bathroom. Simply spray some shaving cream on your mirror, use your kitchen roll to polish it off and the result will be shiny, smudge-free mirror for two or three weeks easily.

2. Gleam up your shower screen with tea or oil

For a great shiny shower screen, simply dip a lint-free cloth into black tea, and rub it on the mirror. After that, use a clean cloth to pat is dry. Apart from black tea, you can even spray cooking oil on the shower screen and let it sit for up to 10 minutes and then rinse it off with soapy water before buffing with a clean cloth. Viola! Your shower screen will be all shiny and stain-free.

3. Make the windows shine with vinegar

Mix one small portion of white vinegar with half portion of rubbing alcohol, and two parts of water in a spray bottle. Spray it on the windows, mirror or shower screen for the perfect shine every time. Always use a lint-free microfiber cloth for buffing.

4. Banish mildew with bicarbonate of soda and vinegar

If you notice presence of mildew in your shower curtain or any other area in your bathroom, you can easily get rid of it using bicarbonate of soda and vinegar. All you need to do is, add half a cup of white vinegar to one cup of bicarbonate of soda. You can add this mixture to the washing powder for cleaning your shower curtain. If cleaning any other surface, you can apply this mixture with a sponge and let it sit for a while. After that, rinse of the area with warm water and it will be all clean and mildew-free.

5. Make your washbasin new with these common ingredients

Porcelain wash basins do take care of themselves, however, if you notice stains including water stains on it, you can clean it with a few home ingredients. You need 1 tablespoon of baking soda, 1 tablespoon of common salt, lemon juice, and few drops of liquid soap. Rub the wash basin with this mixture, using a sponge. After that, rinse off the wash basin with warm water. This mixture will also make your wash basin smell fresh and appear aesthetic.
